Who we are
Frugalissimo is an independent, solo-founder coupon site launched in 2026. There is no venture capital, no growth team, and no growth-at-all-costs playbook behind it — just one person who got tired of coupon sites that were 90% outdated codes and 10% pop-ups.
Our north star is simple: if a coupon doesn't actually save you money, it doesn't belong on the site. We choose transparency over commission-chasing, every single time.
How we're different
- ✓ We don't intercept other people's affiliate cookies. Some browser extensions and coupon tools quietly overwrite the referral cookie of the blogger or creator who actually helped you find a deal. We think that's unfair — Frugalissimo only earns when the click genuinely originates with us.
- ✓ Coupons are sorted by user value, not by our commission. We rank offers by discount size and recency of verification. A 30%-off code that pays us nothing will always appear above a 5%-off code that pays us well.
- ✓ We verify codes regularly. Expired coupons get hidden automatically, and codes that haven't been checked in 30 days are flagged as unverified so you know exactly what you're getting.
- ✓ No dark patterns. No fake countdown timers, no "3 people just used this code" popups, no guilt-tripping exit modals.
