How cashback stacking works
Click through a cashback portal (Rakuten, Swagbucks, etc.) to the retailer's site, then pay with a rewards credit card. You earn the portal rate plus the card rate on the same purchase. A $100 order at Best Buy through Rakuten (6%) paid with Amex Blue Cash Preferred at a store that earns 1% nets you 7% back — $7 instead of $1.
